Kris and Kelsey’s wedding was so amazing to be a part of. We hadn’t met Kelsey or Kris in person before the wedding and the minute Kelsey opened the door it was like we had known her for years. Her smile absolutely lights up a room and she looked absolutely beautiful on her wedding day. Her dress was absolutely gorgeous and her venue was just as gorgeous. We had never photographed a wedding at the Cambridge Mill and it is an absolutely gorgeous spot for a wedding anytime of the year but was absolutely perfect for a winter wedding! Kris and Kelsey’s daughter was a huge part of their day and we enjoyed photographing the precious moments between mom and daughter as they got ready for the wedding. Kelsey and Kris’s wedding day was one of the coldest of the year but they still went outside for photos. We didn’t stay out long but the photos we did get before all of our hands went numb were beautiful. Winter weddings with snow are so stunning! Their ceremony took place at dusk and the building they were married in was windows all the way around with a river behind them as the backdrop for their “I do’s”. They served their guests hot chocolate as they arrived. It was such a cozy winter touch and their reception was just as cozy. The little warm touches they added to their day just gave it such a romantic feel. We absolutely loved being a part of your wedding day Kris and Kelsey and we wish you many years of love and adventure!
