Morgan and Caleb wanted to have their engagement photos taken in a spot which had special meaning to them. This was definitely the place! You could tell how much they loved it as they talked about all the things that they enjoyed as they have walked there over the years. They love the green of the skunk cabbage which is only seen for a few weeks at this time of year. They loved the wooden, windy walkway that they walk on all the time, they loved the dock and they loved the trees...especially one tree which was absolutely massive. Such a beautiful spot! We love when clients take us to places that have a lot of meaning for them! We had a blast with them that day! We asked them how they met and here is their story.Caleb and Morgan met 3 years ago. They were neighbours living 3 doors down from each other in a cute condo/townhome community in London. They both lived there over 6 months before they met. The first time they saw each other Morgan was carrying flowers from her car to plant her gardens and he offered to help her. A week later all the neighbours were outside enjoying a few drinks on a Friday night and they were officially introduced. They talked until the sun came up. The next day he brought her coffee and they went hiking in the very location that their engagement shoot was done. They have been together ever since! They got engaged on a Wednesday night in November at the ‘Lighting-of-the-Lights’ Ceremony in Ingersoll. There was a big gathering on main street to light the big Christmas tree and all the shops were open late. They went out for dinner then wandered up and down the street looking through all the stores. They skipped by the wedding dress store though. She joked that it’s bad luck to look at wedding dresses if you’re not even engaged. They walked over in front of the big Christmas tree and Caleb pulled the ring out of his pocket and said “Well, what if you were engaged... ?” Morgan said it was spontaneous, romantic and perfect! We want to wish them congratulations on their engagement and we look forward to photographing their wedding this July!
