Gerdien and Chris are married! (July 22, 2011)

Gerdien was one of the most excited brides we have had.   She smiled all day long but especially when she got to put her dress on and when she was about to walk down the aisle.  It was really cute!  We have never photographed a wedding like it before.  This wedding was a Dutch Reform wedding and there were no photos during the ceremony which was two hours.  All of the women wore hats.  It was kind of cool...felt like we were in England or something.  It was also an incredibly hot day during our hot spell this summer.  We were glad the church had air conditioning.  Their flowers were beautiful...just love the mix of yellow and white calla lilies.  The wedding receptions was again at Ottercreek...which we love...no complaints about photographing weddings there.  All in all it was a fantastic day and we were honored to be a part of it.  Gerdien and Chris are a great match for each other and we wish them many happy years together in their married life!
