Carolyn and Jon are excited to be engaged!

Carolyn and Jon are a great couple to spend time with.  We enjoyed spending a cold and awesome winter day with them.  It was an adventure to say the least.   Walking down slippery slopes and not be able to get back up, walking on and falling through cracking ice, and tobogganing (for Carolyn and Jon) on a very small toboggan but we all had a lot of fun!  Afterwards we chatted for quite a long time at Starbucks and warmed up!Jon and Carolyn have been dating for quite a while and last September Jon decided to ask her to be his wife.  They had plans to go to an apple orchard that day and after picking apples for quite a while Jon pulled out his iPhone and decided to take some photos.  Carolyn posed for a photo and then Jon asked if she would like to see the picture.  He turned his iPhone around to show Carolyn and she was confused as the photo on the phone was not one with her in it.  Instead it was photo of an apple in the grass with a ring on it.  Jon had taken it the day before!   Carolyn said she was dumbfounded and pretty sure that she didn't say anything.  She was staring at the photo trying to process everything when Jon got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.  Carolyn grabbed his hands and after a while realized she needed to reply.  She said a resounding yes and spent the next three hours sharing the news with family and friends.We look forward to your beautiful wedding in June Carolyn and Jon!  Congratulations to you both on your engagement...you guys seem like a perfect fit for each other!
