This is another wedding we just loved! Elya and Mike are a couple who just connect with each other in such a beautiful way. The way they look at each other and the way they talk about one another is so special! You can tell they are a couple that is going to last! The feel of this wedding was also amazing. Elya originally wanted to be married on the beach and even though they weren't this was pretty close. Elya and Mike rented an awesome cottage in Long Point right on the beach and Elya and her bridesmaids and family got ready here on the wedding day. They had a spa come out and do everyone's hair and makeup. It was a very relaxed morning! They were then married at Cranberry Creek...one of my favorite wedding locations! It is just stunning! Then it was off for photos at the beach! We had a great time with them there. Their wedding party was a lot of fun also and definitely kept us laughing. What a great day! There were a quite a few features of their wedding day that we just loved! Elya and Mike chose peacock feathers as a theme for their wedding day. Elya and her bridesmaids had them in their hair and the bridesmaids had them as their bouquets. They were also in the centerpieces at their wedding reception! Thought it was a very unique idea. We also loved what Elya wore on her feet! More foot jewelry than shoes! I think every bride should be this comfortable as much as I do love the stilettos that many brides wear. The guys suits were awesome also and the guys all wore sandals. Their wedding vows were really cute and at their wedding reception they had a great first dance...not traditional at all. We also took photos in the very place they were engaged....just past the no trespassing sign on the beach. Thought that was great. Hope we have many more weddings like this one in the years to come!Mike and Elya you are an amazing couple and we had an amazing time at your wedding! Hope you can continue laughing together always and hope you look at each other in 50 years just the way you do now and even with more love. Congratulations!
