Andrea and Mike’s Awesome Relaxed Wedding! (May 29, 2010)

I don't know where to start talking about this wedding except to say that we loved it!  We have never seen a wedding like it and I don't know if we ever will again.  When we showed up Andrea was the most relaxed I have ever seen a bride!  She didn't even get her dress on until about 20 minutes before the wedding.  She wore a cute little short white dress with polka-dot green shoes and the groom wore black shorts and black sneakers.  It is so them!  The backyard they were married in was absolutely amazing.  Their family friends have truly made it their own little paradise.  It was stunning.Mike and Andrea were married on a little sandy beach in front of a man made pond with all their closest friends watching.  It was one of the hottest days we have had yet this year and it was perfect for their outdoor wedding.  Mike and Andrea really wanted to make sure their guests were well taken care of for the afternoon and so they had a motocross show.  Motocross has always been a passion of Mike's and his friends so it was very fitting. Everyone loved it including us!  Can honestly say we have never seen that at a wedding!  After that we took a few photos of the couple and their families and while that was going on there were guests that had brought their bathing suits and were jumping in to the pond to cool off.  One guest even went in with his clothes on.  Honestly with the heat that day the thought to jump in crossed my mind.Their reception was held in the upper floor of the barn on the same property and it was decorated so cute with umbrellas hanging from the roof and ceramic boots filled with flowers on the tables.  Andrea and Mike have a great group of friends and they definitely kept their party interesting and they all seemed to be having a great time.Andrea and Mike we were so honored to be a part of your awesome and relaxing day.  We will never forget your unique wedding!  You are truly an awesome couple and some of the nicest people we have ever met!  Congratulations on your marriage!  Hope you have many happy years of marriage together!
