Mandy and Derek’s E-Session

What a night this was!  The weather was amazing but we trekked through poison ivy and didn't realize we were in it until it was too late.  Fortunately we had only walked through it and did not wake up itchy or with a rash or anything.  Was a bit worried!  Mandy also got totally dirty on one side of her when she laid down on a log.  We thought it was just sand but ended up being a black dirt and she did not have a change of clothes so just had to be creative in hiding it but you can't tell.  We had so much fun and such a memorable engagement session with Mandy and Derek.  They make an awesome couple!  Mandy is gorgeous and Derek has amazing dimples which you can see in some of the photos.  Mandy and Derek asked us to come down to their parents cottage in Grand Bend to do their engagement photos.  We absolutely love doing beach engagement sessions, especially there since the sunsets are so pretty!Mandy and Derek met in high school and became great friends!  They even went to prom together!  They stopped talking for a few years after that until they ran into each other randomly at a bar.  Derek told her at that time that there was nobody else in the world he wanted to be with and they have been together ever since.  They have now been together for five years and always think about the two years they spent apart and never want that to happen again!   Mandy said that even though they didn't get together right away she knew deep down that someday they would be getting married!  And so they are...they will be married in December of this year and we are truly looking forward to their winter wedding!Congrats you two!
