This was such a fun engagement shoot. We just had the best time photographing it! We originally were supposed to do a winter engagement shoot. However, we had a little less winter this year than we normally have so we rescheduled. It was a very windy night but when we started taking photos it was about 17 degrees and within two hours it went down to 8 degrees. It was pretty cold by the end especially after being in the river but it was so worth it. I guess they sort of had a winter engagement session after all since the next morning it snowed. What a weird spring it has been...one day in shorts and the next in winter jackets???Andrea and Mike's engagement session was done on their farm. What an awesome property they had! I love it when couples choose places that are special to them to have photos taken and this location couldn't have been more perfect. It is truly what this couple is all about! Also we were able to get some photos of them with their two dogs which made it even better!Andrea and Mike met about 4 years ago at an event in London. When she told her best friend from home the name of the guy she had met her friend said that she had known him since before high school. She thought Andrea had known him too but Andrea said she had never met him! It turned out that Mike rides motocross with her brothers and had known her friend and brother for years. Somehow though they had never met. They don't know their 'anniversary date' but each year they attend a Supercross event in Toronto and that marks another year together in their relationship! They are a truly awesome couple and we cannot wait for their wedding this May. Looking forward to their planned surprises for the wedding day! It will be a very unique and enjoyable wedding!
